| | The Hampshire Football Club (HFC) is the premiere division of the Amherst Soccer Club (ASC) and is dedicated to developing skilled and competitive soccer players. It is composed of several teams, the requisite coaches, Director of Coaching, and falls under the jurisdiction of the board and administration of the Amherst Soccer Club. Members of the Hampshire Football Club teams are from towns within the Southern New Hampshire region.
The purpose of the Hampshire Football Club is to provide an infrastructure that allows young athletes to develop their skills to a level that is regionally and nationally competitive. The Club facilitates the building of self-awareness, self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork based on mutual respect and support. Our goal is accomplished through emphasis on the technical skills, tactical knowledge, and responsibility of each individual and is advanced in an environment in which these players are exposed to a diverse group of competitors in unique locations.
Corlton Simmond, the Director of Coaching, brings to the club five years of experience as Assistant and Head Coach of Daniel Webster College Mens Soccer, over seven years as head coach to various area youth teams, coach of summer soccer camps and a State Olympic Development team, and nine years as a semi-professional player.
